It’s hard to believe my two years as your President is almost over. The November 6 meeting is our Annual General Meeting. I am pleased to report that we have successfully fielded a full slate of nominations for your 2016 Management Team. Thank you to everyone who has let his or her name stand. And thank you to all for your faith in the future of this fun social club.

The Financial reports have been posted to the website for you to review prior to our meeting and you will see we are in excellent financial shape. I am especially pleased that we have added 10 new members in 2015 and maintained our club membership at approximately 115.

We changed our meeting formats this year to feature our excellent speakers and Marnie and Barb have outdone themselves with the caliber of speakers we have enjoyed. Club members responded to organizing and attending Out & About activities and special thanks to Heather Popple for the Boeing trip arrangements. Heinz and Loretta, our joint Secretaries, have done an incredible job with club minutes and club administration and Donna Mae, our Treasurer has watched the purse strings on our budget. Bonnie Howell made sure our Social activities went off without a hitch. Our Communications team under Judy has been outstanding with Newsletters, e-blasts, newspaper articles, and website upgrades. PROBUS is meant to be fun for all and you can end the year with a festive flair by attending our Christmas Party on Wednesday, December 9 at Fairwinds.

I want to thank you for a wonderful two years and I wish Don Dempson and his new Management Team all the best for a continued active and fun club in 2016.
