Dr. Wilson, a physician in Guernsey, was presented with an MBE at Buckingham Palace by Prince William on October 17, 2013 for her dedication in helping over 25,000 orphans.
There are about 200,000 orphans in the poverty-stricken area and she is passionate about helping as many as possible.
Posted on the walls of St. Mary’s church hall are photos of the clothing and blankets that the Tumaini Crafters on Vancouver Island have sent overseas. Money has also been sent to purchase school uniforms and goats.
