On a perfect summer afternoon, seven of us visited the teafarm hidden in the beautiful Cowichan Valley. Margit and Victor and their staff welcomed us and treated us to an entertaining and educational time.
Although they are successfully growing tea, they are not yet selling it. They do mix and sell many teas from their own recipes.
We tasted three of their teas and enjoyed two wonderful desserts while learning everything we could about the tea from Margit. We were served in cups which she had made and were surrounded by her beautiful pottery. After shopping in their store, we left for home, feeling very relaxed and affirming that we would soon be back.
