Probus Golf May 11, 2018
It was an absolutely beautiful sunny day for golf at the Qualicum Memorial Golf Course on Friday, May 11. There were 7 foursomes of NWB Probus golfers for a Nine & Dine initially teeing off at 2:56 in the afternoon plus 3 additional members who came for dinner. As evidenced by the accompanying photos, everyone had a grand time as Probus golf is not about the score, it is about having a fun day with friends.
Next up is Pheasant Glen Golf Course on June 8th. First tee-off time is 3:00 p.m., with times reserved for 32 players. The price is $45.00, which includes 9 holes of golf, ½ cart rental and a three-course meal (with choices for each course). What a deal!
Friday on the Green is so popular that it is now a “Special interest Golf Group”. When you sign up for one event you will be part of the emailing list for all Friday on the Green events for the season and will receive dates and details automatically. The information will also be published in the Club’s eNewsletter and on our Probus website.
