This classic comedy develops as a group of friends assemble for a weekly poker game in the apartment of divorced, Oscar Madison. And if the mess is any indication, it’s no wonder his wife left him. Last to arrive is Felix Unger, who has just been separated from his wife. Fastidious and depressed, the neurotic hypochondriac, Felix, seems suicidal. Oscar comes to the rescue and asks Felix to move in with him, but as the action unfolds, Oscar’s devil-may-care attitude turns to thoughts of violence when the clean freak and the slob live together, hilariously, as the ultimate Odd Couple!
Well 30 PROBUS members came out to see this famous play and they were not disappointed. It always amazes me how good local theatre is at the Bailey Studio. We were all left laughing in the aisles and ready for our next theatre adventure. Won’t you join us next time.
