North West Bay Probus

Report on our outing to the Chemainus Theatre – Saturday May 2nd.

The Ladies Foursome

In Norm Foster’s uproarious comedy, The Ladies Foursome, four friends tee off in a full round of golf the day after a friend’s funeral – revealing long-kept secrets, hilarious confessions, and pining for love near and far. Comedic discussions of mature themes, including sex and death.

Twenty -six Probus members enjoyed the tee off banter and reminiscing shared in Norm Foster’s play entitled the Ladies Foursome. Having known each other for decades, four women exchanged stories, memories and honesty in heart and good humor around an intimate stage arranged as four tee off positions. One also must give kudos to the gloved hand that would appear at each new tee off to entice the audience into the next scene. The buffet lunch was well organized with abundant and delicious food and a piano as accompaniment. What a nice outing it was!
