Alan Rinehart, an internationally renowned classical guitarist, will be performing a private concert at our November meeting, “My Journey with a Classical Guitar”.
Having recently moved to the Island, Alan and his guitar have appeared from the bucolic summer gardens of St. Philips by the Sea to the beautiful acoustic churches of Nanaimo as well as large performance venues.
Alan has released ten solo CDs and one CD with the Vancouver Guitar Quartet, all to international critical praise. His sixth solo CD, Verdi’s Guitar was chosen by Classical Guitar Magazine as one of the top 10 recordings of the year.
We have invited the community to attend, to listen, enjoy and check out Northwest Bay Probus club. To ensure space, non-members must register (Tel: 604.862.0922) and get their names on a list.
