President’s Message – April 2020

Your Management Committee has decided to publish an abbreviated form of our e-News over the next several months. We want to stay in touch with our Members and to encourage ongoing dialogue amongst ourselves during these trying times.  We have decided not to publish information on COVID-19 as we are inundated and kept up to date with authoritative information. We are also not going to publish jokes or cartoons in the e-News. Otherwise, the field is open.

We welcome submissions for these brief e-News editions. If you have any particular ideas that you feel will be informative or uplifting, please forward them to Bea Kolodziej and Gail Sherson, who are Co-Chairs for our e-News.

In the April e-News, we highlight the uplifting efforts of one of our Members who is making preparations for critically important contributions for our local health caregivers.

We have also provided some information with respect to “virtual meetings” that some of our Special Interest Groups have been using to have fun while complying with the social distancing mandates.
