Welcome back.
September is here. It is a time to reflect on the memories of summer adventures and begin new priorities for fall. The changes of the seasons bring so much excitement. One event this fall is international literacy day on September 8th. To celebrate and try something new, I encourage you to bring a book to our meeting that you do not mind parting with. We will have a table where you can swap a book for another book. Happy reading.
I would like to thank our management team for all their efforts to make this a vibrant and welcoming club. As I step into the role of President, I encourage you to reach out to myself or members of the team with ideas and feedback to make this club the best it can be. We have an exciting lineup of speakers planned until the end of the year. If you have not been to a meeting in a while, I would like to encourage you to come out and meet some of our new members. For our September meeting we are proud to announce we will be hosting 21 guests, please welcome them and let them feel what makes our club so special, the people.
