“Peppermint Twist”?  For a Christmas party?  Yes, it is unique and unusual and, no, you won’t have to get up and do your version of the 60’s dance craze that put your back out then that you’re still paying for now.  It’s a party with a peppermint twist. By popular request, our annual Christmas gathering will once again be a luncheon to be held at the Bayside Oceanfront Resort in Parksville. The menu will include Roast Turkey with all the trimmings served to your table.  Those with dietary restrictions or preferences, please let me know. To reserve a space, payment must be received on or before Tuesday, November 15^th either by e-transfer as indicated above, or by cheque made out to NW Bay PROBUS and given to me at the November 4^th meeting or letting me know that is your method of payment. Please indicate the names of those being covered by your payments. In place of the food bank offerings from last year, we are asking that you bring a donation of a gift card for Quality Foods in a denomination of your choosing.  Keeping it local, proceeds will go to the NCS (Nanoose Community Services) Food Bank.
