After two long months our reno is complete. The dust is gone, yard and driveway is cleared of extra building materials and equipment and the painter has left the building. The old renovation motto: “it takes twice as long and costs twice as much as you thought” is true, but now we get to enjoy it.

What a busy summer we had with PROBUS Out & About and Social activities. Thank you to everyone who opened their homes – Diane and Joan and to everyone who helped organize them to run so smoothly. I can only take credit for the weather.

The September meeting is a fun way to kickoff the fall with a pancake breakfast and jokefest. So dress up Western style, bring your appetites, a joke or two and be prepared to enjoy a social time with friends.

With the weather cooling off and a little rain we hope to get hiking again so we can set some dates at the September meeting for the hiking club.
