NWB Probus Crib Tournament with Potluck Lunch

The cards were dealt, the pegs were moved and the results are in!

Our crib game on Wednesday, July 15 at Bob Cunningham’s home in Fairwinds brought together 11 Probus members and guests for rousing games of crib. There was much teasing, strategizing, counting and even a skunking! All in all, a great spirited afternoon of fun.

First place was dominated by Christine MacDonald while last place was hard fought by Christopher Canny. The trophy and booby prize (see insert) will of course be circulated to the next winners at the next event.

Before the games, we all got well prepped with chatter, food and drink so a big thank you to everyone for contributing the delicious salads, mains and brownies for dessert. A big shout out to Christopher for reviewing the crib rules and arranging the player teams and generally keeping us at the correct tables. A special thanks to Bob for donating the prizes and being a generous host.
