Northwest Bay PROBUS | An afternoon at the Theatre

A favourite activity for some of our club is to partake in a sumptuous buffet luncheon and catch an afternoon play.

On Wednesday, September 13th, a dozen club members ventured south to Chemainus Theatre to enjoy a spot of British comedy in the play called ‘Jeeves takes a Bow’.

We chuckled to Bertie Wooster’s antics as he bit off more of the Big Apple than he could chew. All his attempts to inflict his charming ineptitude on America and break into show biz were foiled by a kooky childhood friend “Binky” and vengeful thug “Knuckles McCann”. We watched how Jeeves, his illustrious manservant, managed to skillfully save the scene and the day.

A thoroughly enjoyable way to spend an enjoyable afternoon with friends!
