Both Sides of the Camera May 15/14On the evening of May 15th, 2014 Grandmothers to Grandmothers is hosting two award-winning and accomplished women.

Rosemary Thompson is Director of Communications for the National Arts Centre and previously worked as a journalist for CTV and CBC across Canada and the U.S.  Her sister, Virginia Thompson, is President of Verité Films and was the Executive Producer of the hit TV series Corner Gas.

Join other Probus members at the Grand Hotel Ballroom as these two successful media personalities tell us about their interesting lives and careers in front of and behind the camera.  

When you buy a ticket ($30/person), you will be supporting the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign.

Tickets are available at The Grand Hotel, Cranky Dog Music (Parksville), and The Shoe Inn (Qualicum).  Buy your ticket and fill in the following box to tell us you are coming (we’ll arrange carpooling and a meeting place at the venue for Northwest Bay PROBUS members in advance of the date).
