Have you ever had the urge to try kayaking but didn’t really know where to go or how to do it??

Well, here’s your opportunity to give it a try in the company of Probus friends.

Sandra Crarer is arranging a paddle into the sunset on the shores of Nanoose Bay on July 17th. Relaxed and fun, we’ll paddle past spectacular scenery to the Coast Mountains and see other Gulf Islands in the distance. The time is set according to the sunset that day and will be two hours in duration.

The tour is geared for the beginner paddler and therefore it is not necessary to have had any previous experience in kayaking. The cost of $52.50/person includes the kayak (single or double), a certified guide, all approved Canadian Coast Guard gear, an introduction to the kayak and safety equipment, and detailed instruction in paddling strokes and safety procedures.
