The December 1, 2023 meeting was called to order at 9:15 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church Hall. Thirty-two members attended, which represented a quorum. Sue Kelly explained the purpose of the AGM, presented the agenda, and introduced the incoming 2024 president, Jim McKinlay. Sue asked Sonya Bardati to present the Treasurer’s Report. 2023 figures are estimates and will be finalized following receipt of the January account update from the bank. Heinz Dahn has been appointed to review the 2023 finances, which will take place in February 2024.

Jim reported on his meeting with St. Mary’s representatives about a 2024 rent increase, going into effect January 1, 2024. A draft 2024 budget was prepared and updated to reflect the five resolutions that were carried at the meeting. For more information on the five resolutions, please see the January 2024 e-news.
