President’s Message – March 2020

The month of March is named after the Roman God of War “Mars”.  In Roman days, March was the time of year to resume military campaigns that had been interrupted by winter weather!

On a lighter note, March is the month of the spring equinox where the number of hours of daylight again begins to exceed the hours of darkness.

The major highlight for many people in March is Saint Patrick’s Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick, which is celebrated on March 17. Saint Patrick is the foremost Patron Saint of Ireland and his feast day celebrates Irish culture around the world. Enjoy!
