The Group Enjoying Dinner at the Discovery Room, VIU

The Probus Dining Out group has been active since November 2022. Since its inception, the group has enjoyed Greek, Italian, Thai and North American cuisine in Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, and Coombs. Another great meal was enjoyed at the Discovery Room, at Vancouver Island University when the group made a return visit in November 2023.

The group has grown from an initial complement of 16 to two separate groups of 12 each in the fall of 2023. There is currently no room for additions but since more people are expressing interest in group dining, there may be an opportunity to develop a third group. We are very open to having people starting their own. All you need are Probus members who want to go out to eat, and a coordinator.
