The highlight of my message this month is dedicated entirely to our Annual Picnic which was held on Wednesday, August 18 at the Brigadoon Golf and Country Club in Parksville.

Congratulations to Joanie Miller and her team who organized the event and implemented the program to perfection.

The enclosed article by Don Dempson tells the story in all its glory. A very special thanks to Don for the article, the theme for the event, hosting as emcee and all the memorable photographs.

The picnic was a fabulous celebration with visiting so many people we have not seen in almost 18 months.

It was the first Probus picnic where I got to appreciate the effort that goes into hosting such an event. I counted 15 Probus Members that contributed to the success of the event and to all of them a BIG THANK YOU!
