Mardi Gras, French for “Fat Tuesday”, is celebrated internationally, most widely known to us in Brazil (Carnival) and New Orleans. Strings of beads in purple (Justice), gold (Power) and green (Faith), are worn, as well as masks – the more elaborate, the better.
With a Cajun style buffet and the Hurricane, a Mardi Gras drink with rum (YUM!), Dixieland jazz music and money for the Casino, this promises to be a lively evening.
