On Friday, February 21, 18 Probus members went for a night out at the Bailey Theatre on Rosstown Road in Nanaimo. The production was “Lend Me a Tenor”, a comedy farce.  What a pleasant show with a belly of laughs. How they do a show with only one set and non-stop slapstick I do not know. All of the actors and stage support personal are amateurs-volunteers who love what they do and it shows.

We have attended many shows over the last couple of years and this was one of the better ones. An Italian opera show with mix-ups galore creates a great comedy storyline that kept us laughing with delight. A wonderful evening and we invite other Probus members to join us next time we attend the Bailey Theatre.
