Bamfield Boat Trip – Saturday, February 20.

Four hardy members rose early to make the trip on the Mary Rose from Port Alberni to
Bamfield and return.  The old boat was a lot of fun and the scenery was magnificent.  We were very lucky to have exceptional weather enabling us to see the beautiful snow-capped mountains around us.  We passed quaint coves and floating houses as the boat dropped off deliveries and mail to outposts.  We walked the boardwalks in West Bamfield but made sure to get back to the boat in time – it’s a three-day wait in Bamfield for the boat to return!  This trip is highly recommended.
