Chemainus Theatre Outing – “Once”

Sixteen Probus members enjoyed a delightful afternoon at the Chemainus Theatre on Wednesday March 7.   It was hard to miss  the Irish theme in honour of the upcoming St Patrick’s Day.  The delicious buffet featured dishes such as “Emerald greed salad”, “Potatoes O’Brien”, “Irish macaroni and cheese” and even the poached salmon was bathed in an Irish whiskey cheese sauce.  The play, a musical, was set in modern day Dublin and as always in a Chemainus production the cast was superb.  It never fails to amaze that many of the cast could not only sing and dance but also be proficient on a variety of musical instruments.

Thanks to the organizers (Pat and Joanie?) it was much appreciated by all.
