So you want to help with getting speakers for our club….
Many people ask me “where do you get the speakers for our meetings?” I am going to let you in on a secret. I just activate my sense of curiosity, and put the word out that our club is always on the lookout for interesting speakers and topics. – and you respond.
Most of the speakers I find are from leads from club members, other Probus clubs, Rotary friends, VIU contacts, UVic Speakers Bureau and by simply asking people I meet. So I am asking everyone in our club to become a speaker recruiter. Keep your ears and mind open for interesting people and topics and pass them onto me. Our PROBUS Club will be better off for your curiosity and interest and I will thank you.
