Once again our December meeting was a lively party with music, photographs of the year’s events, and lots of yummy food from our fabulous Hospitality Committee. Thanks to Linda, Leslie and Al, for the wonderful selection of Christmas treats – and the Baileys touch was especially appreciated! The wearing of Christmas sweaters (from the ugly to the delightful) added to the festive air, as did the timely appearance of Santa – look for Santa in the attached pictures.
We also learned about a potential Club tour of the Okanagan from our guest speaker, Lynne Hannay. Lynne set the stage for our planned wine tour next September, describing previous tours she has organized. A Probus club member in Nanaimo, Lynne has already put together and taken three highly popular tours to the BC interior’s wine region with a Nanaimo Probus club and she’s offered to put together one exclusively for our club.
More details will be available future meetings but get a jump on being part of something special and sign up as soon as possible.
